Why Does the Scanner Read My 8-Digit Code Bar Code Label, But Won't Read a 3-Digit Code Bar Code? : ZBA F A Q

Q: Why Does the Scanner Read My 8-Digit Code Bar Code Label, But Won't Read a 3-Digit Code Bar Code?

The scanner's default minimum length for a bar code label is
4 characters. In order to read a 3-digit bar code, you need to
re-program the scanner so that the minimum length is equal
or less than 3. For the ZB8000 Series, Go to page 24 of the
programming manual. Scan PROGRAM -> Scan GLOBAL MIN
CODE LENGTH -> Scan (pg. 95) 03 -> and scan FINISH ->
Scan EXIT (pg.24).
